Your league.
On your terms.

Register and get your eight together

Use the existing player registration and make sure your club is registered too. Every player needs a Playtomic reference level. Agree a period in which to complete your league.

  2. 02

Draw your numbers. Meet your partners.

Assign each player a number from 1 to 8 and keep it throughout the league. The league sheet sets out all 14 fixtures. You play seven matches, partnering with everyone once.

  3. 03

Arrange your matches and book your courts

The four players in each fixture agree when to play and arrange the court through the club’s usual booking process. Fit your matches around your schedules, within the agreed league period.

  4. 04

Record your scores. Build your total.

Enter each match result on the league sheet and award the championship points to all four players. Add up individual totals as the league progresses towards one champion.

Make sure your club is registered.

Any registered Padel Eight club can host a league. Club staff can choose to help, but players take responsibility for their own fixtures and bookings.

Looking ahead · IPC Velocity

The matches you play.
The record you build.

Registering players and clubs gives future match records a home. Keep your league sheet, match dates and player numbers together so your results can be linked to the right people and club.

When IPC Velocity launches, the plan is to capture those past results on behalf of players and clubs. For now, retain the scores: registration alone does not record your matches.

A few practical details

Before you play.

Can any club host a Padel Eight league?

Yes. Any club registered with Padel Eight can be the venue for a league. Players should check with their club that it is registered before starting. Club registration uses the existing form on this website.

Do I need a particular Playtomic level?

You need a Playtomic reference level. There is no minimum rating for playing a Padel Eight league. Include your reference level in your player registration.

Who organises matches and books the courts?

The players do. Once your group and fixtures are agreed, the four players in each match arrange a suitable time and book through the club’s normal process. There are no prescribed court numbers or fixed match times.

How long does a league take?

Your group agrees the completion period. That could be a few weeks or a month. The competition format, playing rules and championship points are the same as a one-day Padel Eight tournament.

Does registration place me in a league?

Registration records your interest and player profile. Your group of eight, registered club and playing period still need to be agreed before the league begins.

How do we keep results before the app launches?

Use the downloadable league sheet and retain a clear copy of the completed results. Keep a separate record of match dates and the players behind each number. Retrospective capture into IPC Velocity is planned; historical results will need to be supplied and matched to the registered players and club when that service is available.
